Remi Eriksen, CEO of DNV, has a passion for technology. The international quality provider DNV is heading the NorwAI work package on Trustworthy AI. Trust is playing an increasingly important role for the responsible language models 'NorGPT' that NorwAI currently is building in a national effort to introduce competitive Norwegian alternatives to the US tech giants.
NorwAI PhD candidate Yujie Xing - her topic is Informed Machine Learning - presented the paper on June 21st. at the International Conference on Applications of Natural Language to Information Systems. Co-writer was NorwAI post doc Peng Liu.
Arendalsuka is flooding of AI-events. Some sticks out: NTNU's Faculty of Technology and Electrical Engineering organizes two quality sessions on Thursday August 17th: at 1 pm an introduction to the expected future regulations on AI, and afterwards, at 2 pm, a NorwAI panel will present the abilities and functionality of the two currently working models NorGPT-3 and NorGPT-23 - the first public showing of the models.
